We’re looking for Food & Beverage Supervisors to join our pre-opening team.

Opportunities are available in both part-time and full-time arrangements.

As the Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be a key leader in the guest experience at our restaurant and the grab-and-go kiosk, guiding the F&B team on the floor during service. You’ll act as a lead host—bringing the brand to life through warm, people-first interactions and helping the team create moments of connection that feel effortless and real.

You will supervise shifts with the support of the Food & Beverage Manager or Manager on Duty, ensuring operations flow smoothly and every guest touchpoint exceeds expectations. This role is hands-on, guest-facing, and integral to the vibe of Talk Shop.

Some Key Responsibilities

  • Make coffees or cocktails, depending on the time of day.
  • Take menu orders, serve food and drinks, and support guests who need help with QR code ordering.
  • Keep the bar and coffee area as well as guest area clean and ready for welcoming guests.
  • Act as the lead host in our restaurant and the Grab & Go coffee station, setting the tone for genuine, unscripted guest experiences.
  • Run the shift, guiding and supporting the F&B team with energy, clarity, and care.
  • Demonstrate full menu and beverage knowledge, helping guests with descriptions and recommendations.
  • Support the delivery of small group events with event space preparation and service.
  • Take ownership of service recovery using the LEAST model and close the loop on any guest concerns.
  • Ensure service standards are upheld while bringing individuality and creativity to the guest journey.
  • Collaborate with Front Office and other departments to ensure a seamless and connected experience.
  • Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of inclusion, fun, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion sustainability practices and waste reduction in day-to-day operations.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a hotel, café, or casual dining venue
  • A guest-first mindset, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Confident food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to train and guide others
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support other departments when needed
  • A passion for bringing a brand to life through authentic service and leadership
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holiday
