YOUR NEW ROLE
Reporting to an industry-leading specialist partner & supported by a paralegal, you will love resolving a full spectrum of intellectually stimulating +interesting disputes (Superior level & Land & Environment Courts) relating to:

all aspects of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and related legislation;

development applications (DAs), complying DAs and exempt development.

applications to amend LEPs and planning proposals;

voluntary planning agreements and developer contributions.

easements and access to land ;

land contamination, pollution, remediation and voluntary management proposals.

directors’ duties and liabilities under planning and environment regulations.

critical habitat and the operation of threatened species conservation legislation.

site and environmental audits, due diligence and environmental impact assessment.

regulatory compliance and enforcement.

Land and Environment Court Applications and Appeals.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

are admitted as a solicitor in NSW;

have minimum 3 yrs or more hands-on environmental/planning/local government law litigation experience (essential) preferably acting for applicants (ie developers/private entities);

have strong communication, research, negotiation, advocacy and client management skills;

are practical, adaptable, commercial, dead-line driven and results-oriented;
