About the Role

This is a full-time Traineeship where you’ll work as part of a large, inspiring and encouraging team while studying towards your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. You’ll gain practical experience fostering the holistic development of children aged 0–5 years. This role strikes a perfect balance between hands-on learning and study to set you up for success as well as a deeply rewarding career within early education.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for being around or working with children
• Eagerness to learn and grow as an early childhood professional
• Interest in innovative and respectful early learning practices (such as the RIE approach)
• A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to showing up for children and the team every day
• Willingness to study and complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care while working.

Essential Criteria

• Understanding of contemporary child safe practices (or a willingness to acquire)
• Available on a full-time basis and flexible with shifts during service operational hours
• Valid NSW Working With Children Check (or a willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
• No prior experience necessary, but must have the dedication, diligence and drive to see a traineeship through to completion, with support provided as required
• Willing to obtain First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and Child Protection training – specifically CHCPRT025 – Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk.
