About the Role:
The Finance Business Partner (FBP) will work closely with business leaders and operational teams to provide strategic financial insights and support. The role involves partnering with non-financial departments to drive business performance through financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and decision support. The FBP will act as a bridge between finance and operational functions to ensure that financial decisions align with overall company goals.
The Finance Business Partner heads the finance team, overseeing core finance functions, including payroll. The team ensures the delivery of a professional, relevant, efficient, accurate, and timely payroll service, maintaining consistency and alignment with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., senior management, team leaders, and other business leaders) to understand business needs and provide financial expertise.
Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support business initiatives and major projects.
Work with departments to monitor financial performance against targets and KPIs, ensuring accountability.
Lead and oversee the finance team, ensuring the delivery of essential finance functions, including payroll.
Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance the use of financial data for decision-making.
Ensure that financial practices and reporting comply with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Contribute to continual improvement processes, including identifying current trends and potential improvements to service delivery, fostering an ethos of improvement within the organisation.

Hours: Full Time 1.0 FTE
