Role Overview:

The Floor Staff Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring smooth nightly operations on the venue floor. This position is responsible for supervising and supporting floor staff, maintaining service quality, and ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all guests. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and experience in fast-paced hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise floor staff during shifts, ensuring efficient team performance and exceptional guest service

Monitor guest areas for cleanliness, safety, and order; proactively resolve any issues

Act as a liaison between management and staff to ensure clear communication and quick problem resolution

Coordinate staff breaks and manage floor coverage to ensure smooth operations throughout the night

Provide training, coaching, and on-the-spot feedback to new and existing team members

Assist with conflict resolution and de-escalation of guest issues when needed

Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and venue policies and procedures

Support setup and breakdown of floor areas before and after events or service

Requirements:

Previous experience in nightlife, hospitality, or customer service supervision required

Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

RSA certificate
