FOH Supervisor & Head Barista – Alma Surfers Paradise

We’re on the lookout for a FOH Supervisor who’s also a skilled Head Barista to join our beachside venue. This is a dual role perfect for someone who can lead the front-of-house team during service and also deliver consistently excellent coffee.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Running the floor during busy services and managing FOH staff

Overseeing the host, managing sections, breaks, and flow of service

Making high-quality coffee on our specialty machine each morning

Leading and training junior baristas to ensure consistency

Communicating with the kitchen and bar to keep service smooth

Handling opening/closing duties, cash ups, and basic admin

Keeping service stations tidy, customer-focused, and ready to go

Supporting the team, solving problems, and setting a great tone on shift

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in a similar FOH leadership role

Strong barista skills and confidence on the machine

Great communicator with a calm, positive attitude

Reliable, organised, and great under pressure

A genuine love for hospitality and working in a fast-paced venue
