About you:

You’re in the early stages of your drafting career, with around 2–4 years of experience in structural drafting or a recently completed qualification. You’re eager to grow and ready to learn from experienced professionals who will support you in developing your skills and confidence.

You’re comfortable working with Autodesk Revit (or learning fast) and take pride in clear, well-organised drawings. You work well under guidance, seek feedback to improve, and are committed to building your knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and industry standards.

You’re a team player with a strong work ethic, a willingness to ask questions, and a genuine interest in structural drafting as a career.

Key accountabilities:

Assist in preparing structural drawings and documentation under the direction of senior staff

· Use Revit to document basic structural elements (e.g. timber framing, slabs, beams) with support

· Interpret redline markups and apply changes accurately

· Help manage drawing files and document control for projects

· Support the drafting team by learning and applying NGS standards and procedures

· Ask clarifying questions and seek feedback to ensure high-quality outputs

· Contribute to internal design reviews by learning how to assess for clarity and correctness

Skills & qualifications:

· 2–4 years of drafting experience OR a recently completed Diploma in Engineering Drafting (Civil/Structural)

· Familiarity with Autodesk Revit or strong aptitude to learn

· Basic understanding of structural systems (e.g. timber, steel, concrete)

· Willingness to follow established documentation standards and protocols

· High attention to detail and commitment to quality

· Clear communicator and active learner

· A positive, respectful approach to collaboration and feedback
