How you’ll make a difference
As Coordinator Strategic Planning you will provide high level strategic planning advice and work outcomes that enhances Council decision making and ensures Hepburn Shire Council is able to meet desired outcomes effectively and efficiently in line with the Strategic Planning Framework. You will provide leadership to others showing excellent professional judgement, demonstrating contemporary work practices, fostering a strong team approach and positive workplace culture.
Our ideal candidate
- hold a Tertiary qualification in Town Planning/Urban Studies/Environmental Planning with extensive experience and working knowledge of the Victorian planning system, relevant legislation, policy and planning principles.
- be and experienced leader, able to motivate and mentor a team of professionals.
- have exceptional customer focused service delivery and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective networks and collaborative partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- be adaptable, flexible and resilient while demonstrating experience in the areas of business support, budget development, financial management, people management, workplace health and safety and records management.
- High level written communication skills with experience in project plans, business cases and operational reports.
