About the Role
Due to internal promotion we’re currently seeking an experienced Wood Machinist to join our production team in Capalaba. In this full-time role, you’ll be operating precision machinery including our Biesse Self Loading CNC and Edge bander. You’ll enjoy a 9-day fortnight (every second Friday off) and a supportive workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC and edge bander equipment

Monitor machine performance, making adjustments as needed for optimal results

Collaborate with the cabinetmaking and assembly teams to ensure efficient workflow

Understanding of substrates, laminates, veneers, and other materials commonly used in cabinetmaking is advantageous

What You’ll Bring

Previous experience as a wood machinist or cabinet maker using CNC and edge banding equipment (Biesse experience preferred)

High attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work

Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work well both independently and in a team

Fork lift license
