We’re working with a mid-sized business that’s rebuilding its EA capability — and they’re looking for someone to own the applications space and help shape their long-term roadmap.

You’ll be the key person driving architecture across all things applications. No major transformations or legacy mess to untangle — the business has just wrapped their SAP RISE journey and is now focused on consolidating, simplifying, and planning for what’s next.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading application architecture and partnering with leaders across the business;
• Mapping capabilities, building roadmaps, and helping align the tech to the future;
• Reintroducing LeanIX and helping get the EA function moving again; and
• Supporting a long-term cloud-readiness push (2030 roadmap).

What it’s not:

• Not a “Head of EA” role;
• Not suited to people used to big EA offices where you only look after one narrow slice; and
• Not tied up in transformation work — SAP is sorted, and there’s no huge program underway.

What they’re after:

• Someone who’s helped build or mature an EA function, not just maintained one;
• Solid experience in applications and business architecture;
• Comfortable working independently and getting things moving with minimal direction; and
• LeanIX experience is ideal, but not essential.
