Are you motivated, independent, caring, and love working in psychology! Reliance Psychology Services (RPS) is seeking an early carer or established Clinical or Registered Psychologist who is looking for the next step on their career.
RPS was established in 2015 to meet a growing need for mental health care services on the Central Coast. Together with a range of Allied Health disciplines (Dietitians, Paediatricians, and Physiotherapists), we form an integral component of the rapidly expanding integrated care network within a multidisciplinary medical center which aims to provide wrap around care. Our clinic is a custom built modern multidisciplinary facility where you will feel professionally supported in your environment and assisted by a highly qualified reception team.
Our experienced Psychologists use evidence-based therapies to treat a broad range of mental health conditions to meet the Central Coast community needs. We have psychologists who work with children, adolescents, adults of all ages, couples and families. At Reliance Psychology Services we respect the experience you already carry as a practitioner (and a person), and provide a safe, non-judgemental, meaningful space for you to build on your existing knowledge, to sympathetically challenge you and guide you on your journey. We will support you to develop your own style of professional practice, to build the confidence and flexibility to work to best suit your clients needs, to promote best practice, and to be the best practitioner (and person) you can be.
Supervision for Endorsement: We can support early career psychologists via the 5+1 pathway (secondary supervision only), or registrar programme (to gain clinical endorsement) with AHPRA Board-approved supervision.
Professional Development: We can support ongoing professional development by collaborating to further enhance your skills and learnings in the assessment and treatment of mental health concerns. Particularly around complex trauma, and neurodevelopmental concerns (e.g., Autism and ADHD) across the lifespan.

Admin support team that will assist you by providing exceptional administrative and general support, including bookings/confirmations/accounts/report scheduling & liaising with GPs/Insurers

We have Clinical Psychologist within the team who is a Board Approved Supervisor.
Participate in regular team meetings, supervision, case conferencing and team building.
Paid professional supervision monthly
Strong existing assessment library to support you to carry out evidence-based assessment, and capacity to build this library to best meet your practice needs.
Requirements:
Relevant qualification and AHPRA registration (or near future capacity)
Eligibility to provide Medicare (and preferably Workers Insurance services)
Commitment to continued professional development
Exceptional communication and rapport building skills
Ability to construct and articulate reports
Professional indemnity insurance

Minimum 2 years post-registration experience OR new graduate positions available
Experience with NDIS clients preferred
Experience administering cognitive assessments (WAIS/WISC) and diagnostic tools for ASD/ADHD preferred
National Police Check (obtained within last 3 months) required
Working with Children Check required
