Lead Educator (MON-FRI)

We are a recently renovated family owned 92 place Centre in Petrie. We are looking for an amazing new Lead Educator to join our Team as the Nursery Lead.

The Opportunity

Your role as a Lead Educator will be to implement and run a program with the support of your two Educators in our Nursery room for children aged between 6 weeks and 15months. You will be able to support the Centre in general on a day to day basis during your employment contract. This will include, but not be limited to, interactive supervision, all aspects of caring for children, running an age appropriate learning based program, developing and maintaining positive relationships with families.

The Candidate

As the ideal candidate, you will present with a sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF and be wanting to make Child Care your long term career. You will be hardworking, dedicated, self motivated, have initiative and be wanting to be part of a team of high achievers!

You will have great communication skills, a happy disposition, a caring nature and be passionate about providing education and care of the highest standard to children.

You will be able to multitask and follow the individual routines for up to 12 children each day, working alongside families to support the needs of each child.

The ideal candidate for this position will hold;

Diploma in Children's Services.

Working with children check.

Current first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis and child protection.

Experience as a Lead Educator, Nursery experience desirable but not essential.

Experience with OWNA would be desirable but not essential.

Available full time (Monday to Friday) for shifts between 6.00am and 6.00pm
