We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team for a site based work located close to Newcastle. We have two roles which offer competitive pay ranging from $50-$60/hr plus overtime, with work scheduled Monday to Friday.

ROLE ONE:

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical faults

Install and commission new equipment as required

Ensure all work is carried out safely and to the highest standards

Requirements:

Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade

Working at Heights ticket

Confined Spaces ticket

EWP (Over 11m)

Experience with overhead cranes

Rigging/Lifting Gear Experience

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to safety and compliance

Schedule:

8 hour shifts

Day shift

Overtime available

Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

Overtime pay

Penalty rates

ROLE TWO:

Key Responsibilities:

Inspecting, testing, maintaining and servicing equipment

Setting up hire equipment for transport to site

Provide instructions to customers on the proper usage of their product

Possible day travel if required to carry out site maintenance of rental equipment

Ensure all work is carried out safely and to the highest standards

Requirements:

Forklift Licence (required)

Hydraulics, Pneumatics or Fitter experience

Competent in the use of maintenance and repair tools

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Sound computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to build new and foster ongoing customer relationships

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to safety and compliance

Schedule:

Mon-Fri, 38-40 hours/week
