About the role:

Initial 6hr Shifts | Opportunity for Increased Hours | Leisure-Focused Support

We are seeking a bubbly, empathetic, and reliable Female Support Worker to provide compassionate care and social support to a client in Yerrinbool. This role is ideal for someone who builds rapport easily and can gently support a client who is gradually opening up to outside assistance.

About the Client:

• 35-year-old female
• Uses a 4-wheeled walker and occasionally a wheelchair depending on fatigue
• Has been cared for by her partner and is now open to introducing external support
• Enjoys leisure and recreation activities at home and is looking for someone to help her re-engage

Your Role Includes:

• Building trust and companionship through regular, positive engagement
• Supporting leisure and recreational activities in and around the home
• Light personal care and meal preparation (if needed)
• Manual handling support and mobility assistance
• Promoting the client’s independence, dignity, and wellbeing

Shift Details:

• Initial schedule: 2 x 6-hour shifts per week
• Potential to transition into 24/7 care as trust and comfort grow
• Specific days and times to be confirmed during onboarding

What We’re Looking For:

• Female support worker preferably, we can accept Male support worker to add in our talent pool
• Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (essential)
• Clear English and confident, respectful communication
• Bubbly, friendly personality who can bring warmth and joy to care
• Experience with manual handling and supporting physical disability is highly regarded

Mandatory Requirements:

• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Police Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Full Australian Work Rights
