About the Role
Split Set Mining Systems is seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our team in Mount St John. This is an immediate start opportunity with training provided and strong potential for long-term employment following a successful probation period.

As a key part of our production team, you'll assist in the manufacturing of split sets (ground support products used in the mining industry), contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our metal forming machinery and assembly lines.

Duties Include:

Operating machinery for metal forming and assembly

General factory duties including packing and cleaning

Assisting in welding, cutting, and bending metal components

Following safety and production procedures

Working both independently and as part of a team

What We’re Looking For:

Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly

Reliable and punctual work ethic

Basic mechanical aptitude

"Can do" attitude with a willingness to learn and help where needed

Ability to work unsupervised

Highly Regarded Skills:

Experience in metal fabrication, cutting, bending, or welding

Previous factory or machine operation experience

Employment Terms:

Casual to start, with a view to transition to full-time

Competitive hourly rates based on experience

Ongoing support and training provided
