What are we looking for?

We are looking for a caring Pharmacist to join our fun and friendly team. We require somebody who is passionate about providing exceptional community care with great attention to detail skills and ability to be proactive.

The ideal candidate must be eager to learn and contribute in our growing Pharmacy.

You will have the opportunity to work across community care, pharmacotherapy and aged care sectors in a fast paced environment.

We open 7 days a week, and offer flexible shifts. You choose the days that you prefer to work.

What’s expected from you in this role:

Provide counselling and advice to consumers on usage of their medicine and their medical conditions

Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation

Check accuracy of Dose Administration Aids (DAA)

Pharmacotherapy dispensing

Liaising with aged care homes on supply of medicines for residents

GE Pharmacy is a family run independent Pharmacy located in Deer Park. We serve the local community through our Community Pharmacy and Pharmacotherapy programs. We also consider ourselves to be aged care specialists having served communities across Victoria for over 20 years. We partner with some of the leading aged care groups to provide exceptional care for their elderly residents.

Who are we looking for?

Current AHPRA registered Pharmacist (without conditions)

Have minimum 2 years previous experience in an Australian based Community Pharmacy

Team player, with a “can do” attitude

Strong time management and communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Experience using FRED dispense preferred
