About the Role

This is your chance to lead, shape, and elevate Occupational Therapy across South Australia’s most influential health networks. As Director of Occupational Therapy at CALHN, you’ll provide visionary leadership across acute, subacute, ambulatory, and community services. This high-impact role offers the unique opportunity to set the strategic direction of a large, integrated service—ensuring excellence in clinical practice, innovation in models of care, and seamless transitions for patients across the system. You’ll work closely with senior health leaders and community partners to champion person-centred, culturally responsive, and future-focused care.

This is more than a leadership role—it’s a platform to drive change, influence state-wide policy, and contribute to national and international conversations in Occupational Therapy. You’ll be supported by a dedicated team of managers and collaborate across disciplines to build capability, lead service development, and embed a strong culture of education, research, and professional excellence. If you’re a recognised clinical leader with a bold vision for what Occupational Therapy can achieve, this is your moment to make a lasting impact on the health and wellbeing of South Australians.

  • Proven senior leadership experience in Occupational Therapy, with the ability to inspire teams, influence change and deliver outcomes across diverse and dynamic settings.
  • High-level strategic and analytical capability, including experience in health service planning, workforce development, program evaluation, and policy development.
