Role Summary

Position: Occupational Therapist (Work From Home)

Location: Fully remote (Work your own hours)

Type: Flexible working arrangement

Salary: Competitive hourly rates or fee-for-service arrangements

Structure: Your business, work as many or as little hours as you want, earn what you want to earn

Key Responsibilities

Provide virtual occupational therapy assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.

Conduct regular online therapy sessions to support clients in achieving their goals.

Offer guidance and strategies to improve clients' daily living and work skills.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and client progress.

Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to optimise therapy outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.

Proven experience in delivering therapy services (virtual therapy experience advantageous).

Strong understanding of therapeutic tools and techniques.

Reliable internet connection, computer and ability to use telehealth platforms.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Strong organisational skills to maintain accurate client records.

Own ABN and appropriate level of insurance.

NDIS and/or medicare provider number.

Knowledge of the 'Splose' clinical management system is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

Breadth of experience across various specialised areas of occupational therapy (e.g., paediatrics, geriatrics, or mental health).

Training or experience with adaptive technologies and digital therapeutic tools.

Familiarity with Australian healthcare policies and NDIS guidelines.

This role is a service provider role contracting to Therapy Direct. You will be expected to have your own registered business (ABN) and PI/PL Insurance. Your hourly rate includes super, leave of any kind and is your responsibility.
