We are seeking a dedicated Dispensary Assistant / Technician who aspires to join a leading Pharmacy. This full-time role offers $27–$30 per hour and centres on supporting pharmacists with medication management for aged care home residents —not a retail pharmacy position.

Key responsibilities:
Working in a team you’ll

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and supplying medications for aged care homes
• Pack medications into dose administration aids per guidelines
• Process bulk orders, medication changes, and manage stock control
• Organise drug storage, coordinate deliveries, and maintain dispensary equipment
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff and nursing home GP’s & Nurses
• Demonstrate basic understanding of drug substitution

Dispensary or pharmacy qualifications (such as S2/S3 or Dispensary Technician Certificate) are beneficial, but not essential. Experience with the FRED system is a plus.
Extensive training and career development support are provided.

Candidates must be permanent residents (no sponsorship) and live within 15km of Balwyn. An interest in health, pharmacy, or science is preferred.
