The Opportunity
Interim Executive Appointments seeks to appoint a Freight Forwarding Manager to oversee all international and domestic freight logistics operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this senior leadership role will be responsible for coordinating and managing freight movement, ensuring regulatory compliance, leading the team, and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers. A key focus will be identifying and delivering continuous improvements to boost operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and drive the performance of the freight forwarding team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Manage, build, and strengthen communication with clients, shipping lines, airlines, contractors, government bodies, and local and international partners to expand market presence and operational capabilities.

Ensure adherence to Australian Trusted Trader standards and compliance requirements.
