Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) – Full-Time Position

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per annum + super (based on experience)

Camberwell Kindergarten and Childcare Centre (CKCC) is a not-for-profit long day care service committed to providing high-quality education and care to children aged 0–6 years. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our professional and supportive team in a full-time capacity.

About the Role:
As our ECT, you will lead the kindergarten program, delivering a play-based, inquiry-led curriculum aligned with the EYLF and VEYLDF. You will work closely with children, families, and educators to foster a warm, engaging, and inclusive environment that supports every child’s learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that reflect children’s interests and developmental stages

Lead the planning cycle and maintain detailed documentation of children’s learning

Build respectful and trusting relationships with children and families

Support and mentor assistant educators within the room

Maintain compliance with all National Quality Standards (NQS), the Education and Care Services National Regulations, and Child Safe Standards

Engage in ongoing critical reflection and professional development

Skills and Experience Required:

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA)

Current VIT registration (or eligibility to obtain)

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates

Strong knowledge of the EYLF, VEYLDF, and NQS

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Previous experience in a long day care setting is desirable
