We are looking for a professional and reliable A-Grade Electrician in the Melbourne area who can provide experienced electrical, data, and general maintenance services to a range of clients including supermarket, retail, and construction throughout Victoria AUS. The permanent role would be suitable for someone who enjoys the challenges of projects that may occasionally require working away from home as well as rotating day/night shifts.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

To comply with all relevant OH&S legislation and follow building-specific procedures/policy and safety guidelines

Install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, apparatus, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes/standards

Manage general repair and maintenance of base building and tenancy areas as required and to schedule

Management of consumables

To keep organized records of tasks performed throughout the day

To carry out other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job

Ability to work overtime/weekends if required

The role may be location-based or mobile where a vehicle would be provided.

Ability to work without direct supervision and provide on job training for apprentices/trainees

Key Licenses/skills/status:

‘A’ grade unrestricted Electrical license (Victorian)

Current OHS induction card

Construction Industry White Card

Australian Permanent resident

Computer/Mobile device literate

Punctuality

Excellent communication and presentation

Prior experience of Control wiring and/or commercial property/infrastructure an advantage

Good knowledge of current electrical standards and requirements

You must have a can-do attitude with strong written and verbal communication
