The role

Mega Watt Electrical is seeking an experienced A-Grade Electrician UPS Technician to join our team in Ravenhall, VIC. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and data infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

Install, commission, maintain, and repair UPS systems.

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with UPS systems, and implement appropriate solutions

Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance.

Provide high-quality customer service and technical support to NDIS Clients & NDIS Providers

Work safely and in compliance with relevant electrical standards and regulations

What we're looking for

A valid A-Grade Electrician licence and experience as an electrician, ideally with a focus on UPS and data electrical systems

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and rectify electrical faults

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members

A commitment to safe work practices and adherence to electrical standards and regulations

A proactive, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Relevant industry certifications or qualifications would be highly regarded

We encourage domestic electricians looking to move into a more technical role.

Basic computer competency (additional training will be provided)

Demonstrated 3 phase equipment experience/working knowledge of DC systems advantageous.
