Information Technology - Infrastructure Administrator

(2-year fixed term contract)

This exciting role offers the chance to showcase and develop your skills in supporting and managing our business-critical IT Infrastructure and Security. The transformation of our ICT infrastructure and security has commenced and you will be a key part of this program. You will also have a great opportunity to build knowledge of Council processes and modern technologies.

This is a fixed-term appointment for a period of two years, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to local government initiatives and make a meaningful impact within the ICT space.

What You’ll Be Doing:

IT Infrastructure Administration – Manage access, new initiatives, licensing, support and maintenance in partnership with our Managed Service Provider (MSP).

Customer fulfilment – Manage the timely response and resolution of incidents and requests. Manage SLA’s with MSP and external providers.

Team Player - Ready to jump in and take on any task? You’ll support our ICT Team to deliver key services to our customers.

What You’ll Need:

Certificate in Information Technology, or willingness to obtain one.

Experience in ICT Infrastructure, including Hardware, Networks, End User Devices and Security

Experience in Cloud Technologies, Modern Workspace and Collaboration technologies

ITIL Certification or willingness to obtain one.

Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and ability to maintain

This is a full-time fixed term 2-year contract classified at Grade H Entry Level under Council’s current salary structure with a salary range based on qualifications and experience from $80,725.01 to $90,856.04, plus 12% statutory superannuation and a 70-hour 9-day fortnight. Conditions are in accordance with Local Government (State) Award 2023.
