About the role:

We're seeking a qualified and reliable Marine Electrician on a casual or full time basis to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing and repairing electrical systems on a wide variety of 36 vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain 12V electrical systems, including lighting, pumps, switch panels, solar, batteries and charging systems in accordance with marine safety standards

Diagnose and repair electrical faults on engines, pumps, lighting, control systems, navigation systems, communication, power distribution, sound systems etc

Service anchor winches, alternators, starter motors etc

Conduct inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical schematics

Work independently and as part of a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard

Assist with general maintenance of the vessels

What You’ll Need:

Trade qualification as a Marine Electrician

Proven experience with 12V marine systems, including battery setups, fuse panels, solar integration, and accessories

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and on-site at marinas or slipways

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A current driver’s license and own tools (preferred)

Experience with lithium battery systems and smart charging technology

Familiarity with brands like Victron, Enerdrive and C-Zone etc

Boat license or marine industry experience favorable
