The APS6 Network Engineer is accountable under limited direction to undertake complex work that is
guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents.
The position is a team membership position that may be required to perform work that involves team
leadership and management responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and managing workflows of a
team.

Responsibilities:
* Liaise with LAN, WAN, Cloud and Wi-Fi teams to align on secure network architecture.
* Lead the documentation of services, patterns and operation workflows.
* Drive initiatives for innovation and service improvement that add business value.
* Coordinate network projects with technical teams and the business.
* Support change management activities.
* Support architectural governance with high-level designs and artefacts.
* Mentor junior administrators and maintain documentation quality.
* Serve as a networking technology Subject Matter Expert (SME) by referencing knowledge available
in globally recognised networking accreditations.

Key skills:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a cloud network administrator/engineer or equivalent
• Develop and implement cloud network architectures that support scalable and secure cloud infrastructure
• Manage CI/CD platforms, utilising infrastructure as code and DevOps for cloud networking.
• Manage Zero Trust Network Access for NDIA applications and services.
• Resolving end user and application issues related to cloud infrastructure and networking.
• Support change management activities.
• Serve as a cloud networking technology Subject Matter Expert (SME) by referencing knowledge available in globally recognised network and cloud accreditations.
