As a result of this growth, we have recently opened a brand new manufacturing facility located in Mitchell Park, close to Ballarat town centre (under 15 minutes) and are seeking diligent, motivated machine operators to join our Extrusion team. Come on … grow yourself with us!

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Machine Operator, ideally with extrusion or similar experience, to join our manufacturing team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will have some relevant process operations experience, but equally important is your willingness and desire to learn and be a positive, key member of our high performing team.

The role will work 4 x 10 hour shifts a week, 7.00am - 5.00pm, Monday - Thursday.

What you will be doing:

Adhering to safety, quality, housekeeping & teamwork behaviours

Setting up, loading, and unloading extrusion lines making a range of flexible cables

Monitoring our extrusion lines - undertaking inline quality checks and reporting of any non-conformance.

Recording the extrusion process data in ERP systems/forms.

Troubleshooting on production machinery.

Making adjustments to ensure production targets are obtained and efficiency is continually improved.

Some manual handling, including lifting of cable and materials (up to 25kg) as required.

About you
