About the role- Light Vehicle & Heavy Vehicle fitter

Murchison Mining Services is seeking experienced Light Vehicle & Heavy Vehicle Fitters to join our dynamic team at the Golden Grove Mine Site, Western Australia.

As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for the servicing and repair of our fleet of Light and Heavy vehicles, ensuring they remain in optimal condition to support our mining operations.

What you'll be doing

Conduct regular inspections, servicing and maintenance of Light and Heavy vehicles

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults

Prepare reports on vehicle condition and work completed

Work closely with the wider maintenance team to maximise vehicle uptime

Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Relevant trade qualifications in Light or Heavy vehicle mechanics

Demonstrated experience as a Light and/or Heavy vehicle mechanic, preferably in a mining or industrial environment

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with the use of specialized tools and diagnostic equipment

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Aircon Servicing ticket.
