Firefly Recruitment are partnering with a reputable and forward thinking enterprise client looking to bolster its data capability with an experienced Integration Engineer with solid skills in Data & BI.

You’ll be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, enhancing enterprise-wide reporting, and turning complex business requirements into actionable insights.

What you’ll be doing:

Enhancing Data Warehouses: Support and evolve the data warehouse architecture to ensure it remains scalable, efficient, and fit for future growth.

Building ETL Pipelines: Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes using SSIS for smooth data transformation and integration.

Collaborating with Stakeholders: Engage with a wide range of business users to gather requirements and deliver both visual and technical solutions.

Developing Power BI Dashboards: Build compelling Power BI visualisations and dashboards to empower teams with timely, data-driven decisions.

Driving Business Value: Marry strong technical delivery with clear data storytelling to influence strategy and performance.

Tech environment:

Microsoft SQL Server / SSIS

Azure Data Services (desirable)

Power BI

Data modelling, governance & quality frameworks

What we’re looking for:

Solid experience in data engineering, ideally within enterprise environments.

Proven skills in building and optimising SSIS-based ETL solutions.

Strong Power BI capabilities – from DAX to dashboard storytelling.

Confident working with stakeholders to translate business problems into data solutions.

Bonus: exposure to Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.)
