About Us:
Clearview Blinds (incorporating American Vogue, Kirrawee) is a family-owned growing business established for over 40 years. We are based in Kogarah and service St. George/Sutherland Shire and Greater Sydney. We are a window furnishing manufacturer supplying retail, commercial, real estate agents, wholesale and government contracts with blinds, shutters, curtains, awnings, security doors and screens. We also conduct onsite blind repairs. We are looking for a new full-time customer service whiz to join our team due to our long serving employee retiring. You could even be a tradie wanting to transition off the tools or being on the road and looking to switch to an office role and have the appropriate transferable skills.
Duties include but not limited to:
Handling a diverse range of inbound customer enquiries – telephone, email and showroom
Contacting customers to schedule appointments for our service technicians
Updating and maintaining CRM (SimPRO) and government portals ensuring all information is accurate
Process and monitor production orders
General customer service and administration duties
To be suitable for this role we are looking for someone who has:
Proficient computer and keyboard skills, including MS Office and Outlook with the ability to quickly learn other internal systems
A polite, articulate, confident and efficient telephone manner is essential for building strong relationships with a diverse range of key stakeholders
Mature outlook with the ability to work autonomously and be self-driven to meet deadlines
Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Be organised and have exceptional time management skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
The role is fast-paced during peak periods so the ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritise efficiently is essential
Have a proven history of customer service
Reliable and punctual
Experience and knowledge in the blind industry or similar preferred but not essential - A willingness and capacity to learn is a must. An understanding of the difference between working in a small business versus a corporate company.
Strong knowledge of Greater Sydney suburbs to create efficient daily service runs for our service technicians
Not Negotiable:
Due to the nature of this industry, no leave is approved in our peak period between September to April with the exception of a 2 week shutdown over Christmas/New Year period.
There is no provision for job share or work from home.
Benefits:
This is a permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5pm, with no weekends
Full training provided
On-site parking provided
We close annually over the Xmas/New Year period for 2 weeks
Salary negotiable depending on experience
