As part of our strategic growth, we are launching a dedicated Pest & Rodent Control Division to meet increasing demand across residential, commercial, and government sectors. We are seeking a licensed, experienced, and ambitious technician ready to take ownership of this service and grow it across Tasmania.

About the Role – Make It Yours
You will be the face of pest management across Tasmania, responsible for inspections, treatments, prevention strategies, and exceptional client service. Operating with full autonomy and support, you will:
✅ Provide tailored pest and rodent control treatments
✅ Conduct inspections and create detailed reports
✅ Manage schedules independently while supported by admin staff
✅ Build long-term relationships with clients
✅ Ensure safety and legal compliance in all operations
✅ Represent The Cleaning Agents as a trusted statewide technician
What You’ll Need – Legal Requirements
All applicants must meet Tasmanian legal licensing requirements to be eligible for this role:
✅ Licensing & Regulation (Required):
Pest Management Technician Licence – Tasmania
(Issued by NRE Tas under the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Act 1995)
Authorised use of:
Schedule 5 & 6 chemicals
Rodenticides, including second-generation anticoagulants (SGARs) if relevant
✅ Qualifications:
Certificate III in Urban Pest Management (CPP30119) or equivalent
✅ Additional Mandatory Requirements:
Tasmanian Driver Licence
Construction White Card
National Police Check (within 6 months)
Working with Vulnerable People Card (Tasmania) or willingness to obtain
First Aid Certificate (highly regarded)
Ability to safely handle and apply chemicals per APVMA regulations and SDS protocols

You’ll be expected to uphold:
Work Health & Safety Act 2012 (Tas) compliance
Environmental Management & Pollution Control Act 1994
Pesticide use practices in accordance with the AgVet Code of Tasmania
Safe chemical handling, transport, and waste management
Records and reports in line with Tas EPA and WorkSafe Tasmania standards
