The Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing specialist healthcare provider for an experienced Medical Administrator. This critical role will see you supporting the day-to-day operations of consulting sessions and administrative services, ensuring a seamless experience for patients, specialists, and referrers across multiple clinic sites.
- Confidently operate software programs including VIP.net, Outlook, Word, Excel, and MS Teams.
- Ensure accurate input of patient data and billing details.
- Manage daily administrative tasks with a strong sense of time management and urgency.
- Provide support with triaging and processing incoming referrals.
- Deliver professional and timely phone service with correct greeting and courteous communication.
- Manage bookings and changes through VIP PracticeHub, identifying correct appointment types and durations per doctor.
- Understand and accommodate specific doctor preferences and consultation times.
Your Profile
- Demonstrated experience in medical administration or specialist clinic environments.
- Strong proficiency in patient management systems (preferably VIP.net) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills under pressure.
- High standard of communication, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- A strong sense of confidentiality, empathy, and initiative.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, booking protocols, and triage is highly regarded.
