The Australian Club is one of Australia’s most prestigious private clubs providing a food & beverage experience of the highest standard, to the members and their guests. The Club provides a relaxed environment away from the hectic pace of the CBD where members can enjoy the company of friends in the iconic setting. The club offers two A la carte restaurants, in addition to a range of function rooms for Private and Club functions, up to 400 guests.

Job Role requirements include

• Able to assist in the preparation of a range of sections across the A la carte kitchen, functions and events and be able to work under supervision and alone consistently to standards.
• Work collaboratively and professionally within the kitchen, with the service team and with Members of the Club
• Able to demonstrate consistent production capability during busy service periods
• Show creativity and passion in the completion of tasks within the kitchen and an ability to keep up-to-date with market trends
• Operate in a manner that is safe for self and others at all times
• You will have demonstrated experience within a private club, prestigious hotel or similar scale venue and have some understanding of buffet, A la carte and function work
• Working well within a team by being agile and flexible, with organizational, communication and problem solving skills
• Available over a 7 day roster, days, evenings, and weekends
