We are currently seeking a highly experienced Tax Manager to join the Enterprise Tax Team. This critical role involves delivering ongoing compliance and advisory activities. It is ideally suited for individuals looking to transition from Big 4 accounting firms or large multinational corporate environments.

This role involves providing strategic tax advice, partnering with stakeholders across the business, and contributing to global tax compliance and planning initiatives.
- Partner with business units to identify needs and deliver commercial tax advice aligned with strategic objectives.
- Provide tax support for international projects, including interpretation of income tax treaties, GST/VAT analysis, withholding tax considerations, permanent establishment risks, and individual income tax implications for mobile employees.
- Advise on investment strategies, entry into new markets, and tax due diligence for new business lines.
- Liaise with external advisors to validate technical tax positions and ensure alignment with group policies.
- Support entity rationalisation efforts, working closely with Company Secretariat, regional finance teams, and local advisors to manage tax risks and compliance.
- Assist in structuring effective capital management strategies across the business.
- Monitor and manage the Group's effective tax rate, coordinate global tax provisions, and contribute to Audit Committee reporting.
- Stay informed on international tax developments and emerging regulatory changes relevant to the business.
- Deliver training to tax and finance teams to build internal capability.
- Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Support preparation of taxable income calculations and TEA journal reconciliations.
- Assist with GST and FBT compliance and lodgement.
- Contribute to other tax-related initiatives and projects as required.
