Dapto Foot Clinic is looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our professional and expanding team. We offer the full range of podiatry services to people from the Greater Wollongong community and Illawarra.

In this role, you will work at the front desk of our clinic to welcome patients, book and manage appointments, assist with accounts, support our Podiatrists and ensure effective administration of the clinic. You will be the first point of contact for patients and enquiries (in person, by phone and online).

Responsibilities include:

Support and work with podiatrists to provide an elevate customer experience

Greet patients and welcome them into our clinic

Patient record management

Clerical duties (answer phone, process payments, assist with accounts payable/received, ensure clinic stock levels are maintained)

Manage appointments

Manage email

About you:

Promote a calm and welcoming environment for all patients.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, referring Doctors and suppliers.

Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and professionally manage challenging situations

Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise.

A proactive approach, capable of using initiative and working autonomously as well as in a team.

Previous experience in a medical clinic favourable.

The position:

Full-time 5 days / week

Based in our clinic in Dapto, NSW

Quarterly progress catch-ups

Work closely with an admin team of 4 other permanent team members, based at different sites (Alexandria, Burwood, Shellharbour and Figtree)
