The opportunity
Inner West Council is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Information Technology team as a IT AI Support Cadet. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about .
What is the traineeship
This is a 12-month supported program. You will receive continuous assistance throughout the journey.There will be on the job training and formal training and assessment. You will work towards achieving the competencies outlined in a training plan, complete assigned training and assessments, and maintain a training record.

About the role
In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing AI based solutions for council using approved platforms. Analyse business needs to create appropriate AI based solutions and develop content for use across Council.

Remuneration
From $827.40 per week + superannuation
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
- Ability to communicate and engage with non-technical stakeholders on technical AI concepts
- Understanding of the principles of governance including cybersecurity and responsible use of AI
- Good verbal communication skills
- Manage customer complaints and inquiries through various channels
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
