Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational, non-government school for ELC to Year 12 students. It has three campuses across Darwin: Howard Springs, Palmerston and Leanyer.
Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced Maintenance Officer - Grounds to join the Maintenance Team at the Howard Springs campus on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Maintenance Officer – Grounds plays a key role in supporting the operational requirements of the College by ensuring the grounds, gardens, sporting fields, bushland, and outdoor facilities across all campuses are well maintained, presented, safe, and compliant with relevant regulations. Reporting to the Property Manager, the role involves implementing maintenance schedules, operating machinery and equipment, and performing routine tasks essential to the upkeep of the College grounds.
The ideal candidate will have a trade or horticultural background, experience working independently, and the ability to take initiative. A sound understanding of WHS practices, irrigation systems, and turf maintenance is essential.
What We Offer:
- Permanent full-time position
- Salary: $73,028 gross per annum + 12% super + 6 weeks annual leave + free carparking
Commencement date: Immediate, as negotiated
