Katherine Town Council is the Municipal Council for the town of Katherine, located in the Northern Territory. Often called the 'Crossroads of the North' because of its location, Katherine is the fourth largest town in the Northern Territory and is located 312km south-east of Darwin on the banks of the Katherine River.

Katherine Town Council delivers Municipal Services to the Katherine Community, this including providing Library services, Airport Management, Waste & Recycling, Roads & Infrastructure, Cemetery, Animals and Regulatory Services, Community events and more!

Katherine Town Council is a small organisation of approximately 65 employees that work harmoniously together to ensure Council delivers friendly and efficient services to the residents of Katherine.

About the Position

This position reports to the Engagement and Events Coordinator and is responsible for assisting in the high
quality, intelligent and reliable execution of Council’s functions and events. This position is responsible for
assisting with the planning, preparing, executing, and reviewing necessary Council’s functions and events.
