Primary Function:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Quarry Plant Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of plant associated with the Extractive Industry and Quarry Environment. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 6:45am - 4:00pm.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Operate quarry plant in all traffic conditions.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements specific to the quarry worksite.

Maintain strong communication and relationships with relevant stakeholders.

Keep the working environment, plant, and equipment clean, safe, and operational at all times.

Support work improvement initiatives and ensure quality assurance processes are followed.

Follow established safety procedures and propose improvements to enhance safety standards.

Adhere to environmental control systems within the quarry worksite.

Perform other duties as required.

Entry Level Requirements:

Experience in operating and maintaining plant within the Extractive Industry/Quarry Environment, including but not limited to Excavators, Watercarts, Loaders, and other associated plant machinery.

Able to undertake maintenance on plant and machinery, assisting with major overhauls as required by the maintenance schedule.

Adhere to Quality Assurance processes during production and stockpiling.

Perform site maintenance as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

WorkCover Construction Induction Card.

C Class and HR Drivers Licence.

Operational competence with Excavators, Water Carts, Front-End Loaders and relevant Quarry plant machinery.

Highly Regarded:

Experience operating Crushing/Screening Plant.

Working at Heights Licence.

Experience operating plant within an extractive industry environment.
