Garbage Truck Driver Operator Casual

We currently have an opportunity for a Casual Relief Garbage Truck Driver Operator to join our Waste Services Team.
As a Garbage Truck Driver Operator you will:
- Provide an efficient residential collection, transportation and disposal service in accordance with performance standards, and
- Undertake basic maintenance and complete daily maintenance checks on the trucks
What we offer...
- Casual roles offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle
- Commencing base hourly rate of pay from $44.35 to $48.90 (inclusive of 25% casual loading) (Commencing rate of pay is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
- Progressive base hourly rate of pay up to $53.91
- Plus 12% superannuation.
What you'll need to be successful in the role...
- A minimum Class HR Driver’s Licence
- A minimum of 3 years side loader waste collection truck driving experience
- Experience driving various heavy vehicles requiring a HR Driver’s Licence
- The ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, numeracy skills, customer service and conflict resolution skills.
