ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to continued rapid growth, and our desire to maintain the service excellence that we are renowned for with our loyal customer base, we are on the hunt for an accomplished ‘Recruitment Manager’ to join our team!

This is a full-time role operating out of our brand new, modern office in Oran Park, NSW.

As the Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for driving our recruitment strategy, lead an internal recruitment team, and work closely with senior leadership to attract top-tier talent across all levels of the business. This is a senior leadership role that requires a hands-on approach, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of recruitment best practices in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Ultimately, you will be directly responsible for ensuring your team is delivering the very best experience to candidates applying for work, our existing field employees and our established, valued customer base.

Your day-to-day tasks will include, but certainly not limited to.

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of internal recruiters and support staff.

Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy aligned with our business goals.

Collaborate with the executive leadership team to forecast talent needs and build robust pipelines.

Champion employer branding initiatives to position Backam Group as an employer of choice.

Oversee recruitment systems, technology, and reporting for efficiency and compliance.

Ensure a high-quality candidate experience from application to onboarding.

Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and talent networks.

Ability to implement initiatives that continuously improve our candidate/employee experience.

Assist with the HR management of our Full-Time field staff

The skills, experience & qualifications that are highly desired in this role include.

10+ years of leadership experience within the Labour Hire and Recruitment Industry.

Tertiary education in HR, Business, Economics or a related field.

Someone who is passionate about people, culture, and creating great candidate and customer experiences.

System knowledge and experience with Fasttrack 360, Seek & MS Suite.

Strong knowledge and understanding of interpreting Enterprise Agreements & Industry awards.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong ability in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines, simultaneously.
