About the role

Glenroy Dental Care is seeking a motivated and experienced Qualified Dental Assistant to join our established team in Glenroy, VIC 3046. This is a part-time opportunity to provide critical support to our dentists and ensure our patients receive exceptional care.

What you'll be doing

Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring the operatory is properly equipped and maintained

Sterilising and disinfecting instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols

Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary materials and supplies are available

Providing excellent customer service to patients by greeting them, escorting them to the operatory, and addressing any questions or concerns

Updating and maintaining accurate patient records and treatment notes

Supporting the administrative team with scheduling, filing, and other clerical duties as needed

What we're looking for

Formal qualification as a Dental Assistant with relevant work experience

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide a positive patient experience

Proficiency in using dental equipment and software to support the clinical team

A team-oriented attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks to support the practice
