The Client
We have a newly created opportunity with one of our popular SME Queensland Insurance Brokers. This role has come about due to growth over the last financial year and the enormous amount of new business coming in and needing attention, this financial year. This is a great opportunity to grow your own book, and would also suit a Senior Assistant looking to make that next step. Most current employees are working remote however, in the coming months a new office (head office) will be in Brisbane.
This full time role can also be 100% remote however ideally the Director would like people to soon be based from the Brisbane office with of course, excellent hybrid flexibility.
Our Broker client is a well-known and respected Insurance Brokerage in Australia, providing insurance solutions to their many loyal customers over many years. Over the last 6-12 months, they've been able to add some head count to the business, whilst they still remain relatively small- medium sized, the business will continue to grow over the coming months and year.
The Role
Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced Account Executive OR Senior Assistant to take a chunk of incoming work and establish a solid book of business. Your portfolio will consist of some mid sized clients, but they also very much value their smaller clients. They do a lot in the trades and construction space, if you have a good understanding of ISR this could be the role for you.
The team are professional and high performing. They also like to have some fun and celebrate the wins, and even though they work remotely they still get together often for catch ups.
Some other components of this role include:
Management of a portfolio through all stages of the Broking process, with support from the broking team of Account Executives and Assistant Account Executives.
Respond to all leads efficiently. There is a lot of easy work coming in!
Confidently manage & respond to queries from clients and underwriters – via both phone & email. This may include complex problem-solving.
Develop strong and effective working relationships
Highlight and escalate any significant issues of concern affecting service delivery.
