About the role

We have a vacancy for a fulltime experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position that will see you playing a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

General mechanical repairs and servicing, and inspections as required

Effectively use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve issues

Brakes and suspension on Passenger, Light Commercial and 4WD vehicles.

Local pick-ups and test drives.

Parts - ordering and quoting jobs

Communicate effectively with customers both in person and over the phone to understand their concerns and provide updates

Invoicing and point of sale when required

Independent direction and management of our small team when required

Complete all work in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining high-quality standards

About You

Minimum 1 year experience as an Automotive Technician working on light vehicles

Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30620) or equivalent qualification

Must have permanent right to work in Australia and pass pre-employment checks

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality, with good time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and customer service skills

Current Manual Driver's licence and own tools

A professional and reliable attitude.
