About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to deliver high quality, evidence based social work clinical services, as a member of the multidisciplinary mental health team to consumers (and their carers) of the Redcliffe-Caboolture Child and Youth Mental Health Service (RC-CYMHS), Metro North Mental Health – Redcliffe Caboolture (MNMH-RC). This role will support the intake process for the RC-CYMHS, using a recovery framework to conduct risk assessments, planning and facilitating access to relevant care and providing short term interventions and therapy which is guided by developmental, systemic, sociocultural and trauma-informed frameworks
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Exercise increasingly independent clinical judgement and core problem solving skills and appropriate risk management strategies to a complex client cohort with supervision from a more senior clinician, commensurate with level of knowledge and clinical expertise.
- Engage in inter-sectoral linking and liaison with relevant stakeholders and partners, including communication and interpretation of complex clinical information to secure the service needs of consumers.
- Develop clinical evidence-based practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within the team and by engaging in professional development activities.
