Social Work Therapist / Social Work Behaviour Practitioner

Job Type: Full Time

Hours: 38 hours per week Monday to Friday

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary Package: $75,000 - $100,000 plus superannuation, annual leave and personal leave entitlements.

A company vehicle will be provided for mobile services.

We have an outreach mobile service in and around the Brisbane area, as well as offering therapy at our office, in Kenmore. Telehealth counselling is also available throughout Australia.

Social Work Therapist

Position Description

Provide counselling and therapy services for adults and children in practice, in community and on telehealth.

Provide evidence based therapies and strategies to individuals struggling with mental health.

Report writing - Positive Behaviour Support Plans, Functional Assessments, Psychosocial Assessments and any other relevant therapy reports.

Case noting and evidencing all progress.

Requirements

Bachelor/Master of Social Work (Accredited Mental Health Social Worker advantageous)

Membership with A.A.S.W

Professional Indemnity Insurance

Hold a valid Blue card and Yellow card

Hold a Queensland Drivers Open Licence

Hold a current National Police check

Complete NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Complete Supporting People to Stay Infection Free module

Completed First Aid & CPR Training

Committed to continuing professional development and awareness of current and emerging evidence-based practices

Have excellent time management skills and be able to work autonomously.

Have exceptional communication, interpersonal and social skills and work from a client centred approach.

Have a friendly, positive attitude and approach and be willing to participate within a caring team environment.

Be competent with computers and Microsoft suite.
