About the role
This is a newly created in a growing cybersecurity function, the team are responsible for the security platforms. Currently there is a zScaler implementation inflight, this is the cloud version of the product and needs to integrate with multi-cloud environment. Outside of this project, you are required to look after their broader environment - Microsoft Security skills are the main ask here.

More broadly the business is working towards meeting SOC2 requirements in the US which is driving the cyber uplift.

Duties

• Security engineering across their environment
• Technical implementation and support zScaler initial project in progress
• Help build out cloud security posture
• Work with architects and senior technical stakeholders
• Bake security into their environment

Skills and experience

• To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience as a Security Engineer
• Strong skills with a SASE solution - zScaler ideally
• Prior experience in a cloud environment
• Skills and experience with automation - ideally Terraform or python
• Broad technical exposure across security products and platforms
• Excellent Communication skills - written and verbal
• Industry certifications are highly regarded
