The Team:
The Manager Residential Accommodation role forms part of the Department of Health's statewide Accommodation Services team within the larger Infrastructure - Commercial Services Unit. The Accommodation Services team manages the Department's commercial and residential rental activities and office space planning.
The Role:
The Manager – Residential Accommodation provides strategic, operational and authoritative advice and direction for the management of the Department’s residential accommodation arrangements to ensure the optimal use of limited resources while meeting frontline service delivery needs.
You will need:
- Highly developed leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor staff and to model the Department’s values to create a positive culture in a complex professional work environment and to modify approaches or adapt to new strategic directions.
- Demonstrated high-level negotiation, advocacy, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and the ability to develop effective networks with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to the achievement of organisational and divisional outcomes.
- Demonstrated high level experience, knowledge and understanding of the management and delivery of a statewide service, including understanding of the implementation of relevant policies and government principles and practices.

Details of appointment:
Permanent full time, day worker/ shift worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $128,102 to $134,832 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
