At Fabdent, we’re the digital pioneers, known for our attention to detail, precision ceramics, and trusted relationships with top clinicians. We’re currently looking for an experienced Dental Ceramist & Dental Technician – someone confident across multiple departments – to join our close-knit team in Mascot.
Whether you're a skilled all-rounder or a ceramist with an eye for natural aesthetics, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craft and is committed to delivering restorations that speak for themselves.
Position 1 - Dental Ceramist
$30-$65/hr - Full Time Immediate Start
What you’ll do:
Design, layer and finish crowns, bridges, implants, All on X and veneers – primarily e.max, zirconia and Feldspathics.
Shade matching, internal characterisation, and aesthetic design
Collaborate with dentists and technicians on smile design and case planning
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a dental ceramist (anterior work essential — open to less experience for the right candidate)
Solid digital CAD/CAM skills — Exocad experience preferred
Strong understanding of smile design principles and dental anatomy
Meticulous approach to layering, contouring, and finishing
Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
Position 2 - Dental Technician - All rounder
$25-$45/hr - Full Time Immediate Start
What you’ll do:
Work across a wide range of cases including acrylics, splints, implant planning, crowns, diagnostics, and digital workflows
Manage jobs from start to finish – including model work, CAD/CAM design, and 3D printing
Contribute to overall lab operations with a proactive, detail-oriented approach
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a dental technician (willing to train the right candidate)
Broad knowledge of lab workflows and confidence across multiple departments
Experience with digital systems such as Exocad
Strong communication and time-management skills
Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and both independently and within a team
