Opportunity:
This top 50 AFR firm is looking for a senior accountant who wants to review work more than do work. Of course, as a senior accountant, you won't completely move away from doing the work, however, your focus will be on the higher level advisory client work, and reviewing the other components of the group that will be completed by the intermediates and juniors. Circa 70% review, and 30% do.

What to expect in the role:

• Your own client list and team to support your needs.
• Clients in sport, luxury goods, NFP, motor vehicle and more.
• Being set up for success - regular training and access to Client Managers and Partners to develop you to supersede your current position.
• You will need to be able to address, and find solutions for, issues such as CGT, Div 7a, family trust elections (FTE), small business concessions, and other tax issues you might expect in a business services role.
• Work from home options (2days).
• Access and support for further study, seminars, webinars, post-graduate qualifications etc.
• Plus, more.

To be considered you will have most of the following:

• At least 4 years of experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm.
• CA/CPA qualification or near completion.
• Experience working with companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
• Experience preparing tax returns, financial statements, BAS, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
